Greetings from BelgiumDay 1: Wednesday 19th June

The history trip to the battlefields of France and Belgium is underway and Miss Thompson and Mr Walker have promised to send regular updates so we can all see how Year 10 are getting on in Mr Pilgrim's historical tour.

Today was a trip to the Irish Memorial Tower - dedicated to all Irishmen who perished in Word War One, especially those from the 36th (Ulster) Division, the 10th and the 16th Divisions.

Day 2: Thursday 20th June

We have spent this morning at In Flanders Fields Museum. Lots of moving and powerful images of the First World War.
