Charity Fundraising Day for the Alzheimer’s Society

The Sixth Form Football tournament, a staff coffee morning, a Clarence the Caterpillar ballot and ditching uniforms for civvies all helped BASFC raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Sixth Form footballers raised £149 and a few heart rates as they played in the fiercely competitive 7–a-side tournament. Congratulations to the winning Year 13 team consisting of: Dylan, Connor, Jamie, Chris, Jack, Alana, Mia, Ally and Jordan. The staff raised £325 at a coffee morning organised by Mrs Boal and her band of bakers and hot dog makers.  Clarence the Caterpillar (generously donated by Mrs Sterritt) has a new home for Hallowe’en with Blayne from 9A3, following a raffle which raised £110 and the non-school uniform day has raised over £900 – although counting continues.

Thanks to everyone who donated their money, time and energy to a fantastic day of fundraising!
