'Blood Brothers'

'Blood Brothers' 'So, did y'hear the story of the Johnstone twins?'

One hundred and thirty two of the Academy's culture vultures descended on the Grand Opera House in Belfast to laugh, gasp and weep along to the story of tragic twins, Mickey and Edward.

'Of one womb born, on the self-same day, How one was kept and one given away.'

We thoroughly enjoyed the Bill Kenwright production of 'Blood Brothers'. A standing ovation from the audience is always a sign of true appreciation and the cast duly got theirs. We are hoping it was an enjoyable and immersive revision session for exam students and a fabulous opportunity for some Year 10s to think about whether they'd like to choose English Literature or Drama for GCSE. A class act!
