‘Blackout’ – The Lyric’s production packs an emotional punch. The Lyric Theatre, Belfast came to Bangor Academy and Sixth Form College to perform a play by Davey Anderson called Blackout.

Delivered as part of a new outreach initiative for young people, Blackout tells the story of James, a young man who wakes up in a prison cell with no idea why he is there. As he recalls significant events in his recent life, he realises his future lies in his own hands.

The production was brought to Bangor Academy as part of the Lyric’s Outreach Programme, a project which takes the experience of theatre into schools and employs emerging actors and artists. The Sixth form team at Bangor Academy would like to  thank The Lyric for bringing this fabulous production into school.
