First Tech Challenge (FTC)


First Tech Challenge (FTC)A group of Bangor Academy pupils are representing Ireland in the First Tech Challenge (FTC) which is taking place on the 15th and 16th of March this year.

This involves the team discussing, developing and designing a robot to improve and develop Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) skills. The team will be completing challenges against 400+ teams nationally. Bangor Academy is one of only two schools in the whole island of Ireland to be selected to compete, with successful teams going to the World Championships in America.  You can follow our team on twitter;
