 Sport Update - trampolining, netball, hockey and running successBangor Academy trampolinists have jumped into 2nd place at the British Schools Finals The U14 Elite Team (Kirstyn, Holly and Rebecca) finished 2nd overall. While Erin finished 2nd in the U14 Disability Novice and Paddy got an individual 9th place.

 Miss Watson said:

‘This is a massive achievement! I am so proud. Thanks to all the BASFC pupils and parents involved.’

Meanwhile our Year 10 Netballers attended a special prize giving to receive their medals to recognise their win In the Northern Ireland Junior B District 6 League.   Mrs Mayne was delighted with their performance all season. Well done girls!

Hockey news sees our U14 team as league champions beating Lagan 2 - 0 in the final while the U13s were unlucky to just miss out as runners up in the NDSSC finals.

Finally, in the QUB River Rock 3k race congratulations to Hope McBride who was first female over the line and in addition won her age category. One to watch!
