Rhythmic Gymnastics WinnersCompeting at Level 2, our teams won both first and second places at the national championships in Halesowen in the West Midlands. Congratulations all the girls involved, especially team captain, Natasha Mellon and the teams' coaches, Hannah Shields and Elaine Bailie

Choir ClubFour members of Bangor Academy's Consort have been invited to join the Ulster Youth Choir.

Ulster Youth Choir Choral Director, Dominic Peckham, conducted a vocal workshop with Bangor Academy's finest singers this week. The dynamic choir master was in school to fine tune the consort ahead of the school's annual Spring Concert on 28th March, but four of our singers got more than they bargained for from the event.

First Minister presents Black Belt to Bangor Academy Kick boxer, Jamie.

Jamie Black Belt AwardBangor Academy student, Jamie received his Black Belt in Kickboxing from First Minister, Peter Robinson. The First Minister took time out from political duties to recognise the 13 year old's achievement when he visited Pro Kick, Jamie's Kick Boxing Club in East Belfast.
